About Gridiron NSW

Gridiron NSW is a state sporting organisation (SSO) and is the governing body of American Football in the state of NSW. We are responsible for the governance and game development of the sport , and are one of six state bodies that fall under the direction of Gridiron Australia (GA). Gridiron NSW runs state competitions for men, women, and juniors, and has also helped to send numerous players to the USA to compete at the collegiate level over the past 15 years. For game development we are investigating the opportunity to play flag gridiron (similar to touch football) in schools while developing a pathway for increased participation.
