It's simple: Shop, pay bills, and transact at the companies & brands you use everyday, and our app will automatically purchase $1 worth of stock in those companies for you. Fun, human investing. How it works: Each time you transact at a publicly-traded company (and any of their subsidiary companies/products), Grifin automatically withdraws $1 to invest into that company's stock on your behalf. Each week, your dollars are added up and withdrawn from your bank to buy your stock. For example: • Buy coffee 3x at Starbucks this week? You invest $3 into Starbucks stock. • Pay both your Verizon and Comcast bills this week? $2 is withdrawn to buy $1 of Verizon stock and $1 of Comcast stock. • Go to Whole Foods 2x this week for groceries? You get $2 in Amazon stock, since Whole Foods is a subsidiary of Amazon. • Make a payment on your American Express credit card bill? You get $1 worth of AMEX stock for paying your bill. In this example, after just 1 week, you put $8 towards stocks and you now own stock in 5 of the companies you transact with!
