In today’s world it is easier than ever to slide down the road that leads to destruction. We want to show our youth that doing the right thing takes constant work. It can be an everyday battle with ones self to make decisions that a lot of times contradict what is seen to be as cool amongst peers. Grinding with a Purpose looks to change that perception. We work to build a solid groundwork for our youth to start living healthy, purposeful lives; to eliminate some of the temptation that are haunting and infecting them on a daily basis, including driving out the negative characteristics that lead to growing up and falling into the traps of violence, drug abuse, domestic violence, sexual activity, and premature parenthood. Short-Term Goal Establish our own network of schools to allow constant access throughout the year and build a solid group of kids that we are reaching. Immediate Long-Term Goal Create an After- School Learning Program integrating an academic focus with character building lessons. Tackling Social Issues • Unity, Mindfulness, Empathy • Respect Towards Women • Identifying Emotions • Uplifting Others Integrating Community Service • Homeless Shelters • Special Olympics • Children’s Hospitals
