The patented Grip-n-Assist belt is designed as a comfortable apparatus worn around the waist of a caregiver or the individual requiring assistance. When worn around the waist of the person needing assistance, a caregiver (spouse, family member, licensed caregiver, therapist, physician, etc.) can easily help by grabbing on to a couple of the four comfort grips on the belt and therefore relieving straining issues for the individual. When worn by the caregiver, an individual can hold onto the handles to assist themselves up, down, in or out.
