Although the company was successfully operating from 2012, it was when founder Jordan Daykin appeared on Dragon’s Den in 2014 that the company really took off. Now worth over £20m and sold in over 5000 stores worldwide, the company continues to grow. A uniquely designed plasterboard fixing that can safely support loads up to 113kg. Ideal for both trade and DIY jobs, its slim gripping wings open easily within the wall cavity to provide a secure anchor and distribute weight more effectively than conventional fixings or plugs. No need for additional timber studs or brickwork anchor points saving time, effort and money. The product has been designed for use with all types of plasterboard installations and is 100% reusable. The Gripit range of products also includes: Gripit Self-Drive - won't over tighten and is 20% stronger than conventional self-drives Gripit Roll Plug - adapts to any screw size and avoids the need to carry different sized wall plugs MarXman - a professional marking tool that marks a drilling point (depths up 100mm) on all surfaces.
