The name, GRNSTR, derives from the words the Greene Sister(s) without the vowels. The Greene Sisters (Mikaela and Eliza Greene) are the faces for female professional surfing sisters and are known for successfully competing on the World Surf League Tour. The Greene Sisters, were one of Australia’s most loved contestants on Channel 7’s International hit renovation show, House Rules in 2019, making them a house-hold name. GRNSTR founder Eliza Greene, known for her advocacy of body positivity and inclusivity, has worked hard to create a brand that aligns with her values and unique aesthetic. Eliza created GRNSTR at the young age of 22 - after being in the surfing and swimwear industry for 12 years - with the goal to inspire millions of young women across the world to fearlessly embrace their uniqueness and to provide an organic platform educating her female and male audience that all bodies are “beach bodies”. GRNSTR will continue to strive towards showcasing the beautiful differences among women and that there is place for every body type within this industry.
