FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO BIG DREAMS Our founder, Jerry Bartelse, moved to Canada from the Netherlands in 1974. At that time, he founded the Grober Group of Companies in Cambridge, Ontario. Initially a one-man operation; Jerry did it all, purchased ingredients, mixed products and made deliveries. Today, things look a lot different, but our values remain the same. In 2020, we joined the Gay Lea Foods family. As part of a Canadian farmer-owned co-operative, our founding mission of creating premium products using high quality ingredients, continues. Grober was built on looking forward and not back, ‘because what is relevant is the future’. With this optimistic attitude, we have continued to innovate and add value to the animal nutrition industry. INTRODUCING NEW IDEAS From day one, Grober Nutrition has been committed to pushing the bar higher when it comes to raising young animals. Over the years we have continued to innovate in feeding methods, housing & raising practices, and researching exciting new ingredients. In 2020, we brought this knowledge and innovation to the pet industry, launching Grober Pets - a line of dairy-based pet health products.
