Before starting Ground Break Design in 2020, Trent worked for a well-established landscape design and installation company in Vancouver for over a decade. He began by learning the ins and outs of the construction side of the business before going to school for Landscape Design. Trent has always been passionate about creating beautiful spaces and experiences for people to enjoy, so design was a natural fit. In addition to creating the perfect design for each person, his goal is to change how people experience the construction process by using 3D design to ensure homeowners and installation companies are on the same page. Good design is crucial, but so is the ability to communicate the concept so that everyone involved is working toward the same vision. Trent prides himself on making the design and construction process as stress-free as possible, which both homeowners and installation partners appreciate. Thanks to Ground Break's digital process, Trent's team can partner with landscaping companies across Canada to provide design and planning services. This unique process makes coordinating meetings, communicating design ideas, discussing changes, and collaborating on installations easy and time-efficient.
