GROUP A is a studio for architecture, urban design and interior. The office is lead by Folkert van Hagen, Adam Visser and Maarten van Bremen. The team comprises of an international staff of about 33 people, who all share an open atelier type environment. This set-up has a stimulating effect on the interaction between both staff as well as visitors who will meet in our dynamic office in the Keilepand, M4H, in Rotterdam. We have always been motivated by a desire to learn. Working on different architectural typologies and collaborations with new clients have always given us the opportunity to develop our skills futher. The wish for dialogue and exchange of knowledge is a mindset for our office and provides us with the opportunity to approach each design project as a fresh and dynamic process. In the culture of our studio we consider experience not related to any specific use but as a continually evolving proces. The way people live, work, relax is dynamic, which requires an open minded approach. Because of this attitude GROUP A is able to think laterally without being restricted by circumstances. The office has an extensive experience in the design- and construction process. This enables us to clearly think out of the box and arrive at fresh and unexpected design solutions that define and expose the essence of the commission.
