About Grow the Future Bega
Through growing food and regenerating the land, Grow the Future offers engagement, training, and employment opportunities for young people in a hands-on, outdoor, project base, supportive setting. Our social enterprise farm is located in Bega, NSW. On this farm we work with 12–24-year-olds who are experiencing challenges with education or training, and with those who are just looking for a unique and fulfilling experience. Together, we will produce seasonal vegetables, eggs, and care for our environment. Growing food and regenerating the landscape is an incredibly effective way to empower young people, building skills and confidence which can be transferred to any environment, and into any future career. Our youth programs and our farm operations are focused on creating a positive future for young people and the Bega Valley. Our purpose is to create space for young people to grow.
