About GRP Australia

GRP Australia is a small business, owned and operated here in Brisbane. As an independent supplier, we source and import FRP materials from trusted, quality manufacturers. More specifically, we specialise in moulded grating, pultruded profiles, modular handrail, and decking materials. FRP stands for glass fibre-reinforced polymer. Its strong, light weight and highly resistant. FRP has gained attention for its wide range of applications and advantages over traditional building products such as timber, steel, and aluminium. GRP Australia was established three years ago by two brothers, Rolf, and Peter Vollert. The two combined their engineering backgrounds and experience within the construction, mineral processing, chemical and waste treatment industries. With access to in-house engineers, GRP offers specialised design services that aim to incorporate the entire FRP product range. GRP also caters for projects that require custom profiles and fittings. In the past we have supplied non-stocked items for clients who need a specific colour, size, or cut. GRP Australia has onsite cutting capabilities, and depending on the project, our team can also assemble structures according to technical documentation. For ease of use and installation, our team is available for product and building recommendations.
