About Grubbs & Associates

Grubbs & Associates was established in 1992 and offers architectural and interior design services, space planning, and construction administration, as well as cost estimating services for multi-family and senior living projects, and commercial, financial, and health care institutions. We offers clients a mix of seasoned senior leadership, talented staff, and personal commitment. We strive to respond to each client's unique needs with a focus on strong design and functionality. Our specialties include Senior Living & Financial Facilities design, with at least twenty-five years of experience with each project type. In the area of Senior Living, and we have completed the following project types in states across the Midwest (MO, IL, AR, OK) and beyond: independent living (congregate apartments, patio homes and HUD202), assisted living, supportive living, memory care, and skilled nursing. We have a strong understanding of model codes and issues pertinent to this building type, and strive to balance these with the principles of person-centered care. Our financial facilities experience includes both banks and credit unions; including branch offices, headquarters, and office buildings. Work includes new construction and remodels, with a recent focus on "retail banking" and helping existing branches modernize to match current market trends.
