About Grubers Beckett Chartered Accountants
Grubers Beckett Chartered Accountants has grown from one office in 2001 to 5 offices over the Eastern Seaboard by 2013. Louise and Alf Gruber opened the first Grubers Beckett office in 2001 as principals of the business. We are now the only franchised chartered accountants in Australia. ACCOUNTING One of the greatest mistakes made by business owners is not keeping good financial records and making improper or poor business decisions based on inadequate information. Our senior staff members have personal experience in running a commercial business and have a good working knowledge of computerised accounting systems including Xero, MYOB and Reckon and are therefore in an ideal position to give assistance to our clients in this area of accounting. AUDIT Our specialist audit team has had both national and international experience in senior positions in the larger accountancy practices. Members of the team have worked in Australia, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Asia on multinational public listed companies, private companies, co-operatives, licensed clubs, superannuation funds, trust entities and other audit assignments. The audit team, comprising of principals and managers who are directly and actively involved in the carrying out of the audit assignment, also has a good working knowledge of the tax system. This knowledge of the tax system allows them to appreciate any tax problem or tax planning opportunities that may arise during the audit. BUSINESS SUPPORT Other areas of expertise include; management consulting, forensic accounting, purchase and sale of businesses, start-up assistance, capital raising, salary packaging, solvency issues, liquidations and ongoing accounting support. Our team brings together multi-disciplinary expertise and experience to assist clients in the complex areas of forensic accounting, which enables us to be involved in dispute resolution, investigations, property settlements, valuation services and risk.
