The Grucox Eccentric Trainer is a product resulting from years of research in the field of orthopaedic medicine as well as the collaborative effort of our team of orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and bio-medical engineers. The Grucox Eccentric trainer employs a state of the art feedback system, which allows for accurate regulation of speed and torque as well as the precise measurement of the torque and power applied by each leg – giving the user a unique training experience. In essence, the Grucox Eccentric Trainer is an interactive leg training machine, which allows the user to combine eccentric and concentric exercises, while monitoring their performance data. In so doing this allows the user to optimize a training routine in order to achieve maximum strength gains in the shortest period of time. The Drive Train System employs an advanced electric motor system with a robust speed reduction assembly. Apart from regulating the torque and speed, the system also has advanced safety features – minimizing the risk of injury or over straining. Training management is done via an intuitive touch screen interface and unique operating software. In another first for indoor trainers, the Grucox Eccentric Trainer displays real-time torque and power output for each leg individually, enabling comparative strength assessment and progress tracking.
