Urbar Ingenieros is an industrial group born back in 1948. It began as a company specialized in the application of technologies based on vibration. The company retains more than 70 years of experience in the design and commercialization of vibrating machinery and installations, becoming a reference in its industrial sector in terms of quality, durability, and performance through Urbar Soluciones de Ingeniería. As result of this experience in the field of vibrations, Grupo Urbar started another business area with our VIRLAB laboratory. It became since then a European benchmark in consulting, dynamic testing, and standard certification (EN, IEC, CEI, IE3, CRT91, among others) of multiple types of equipment, certificated by ENAC. Urbar expands its expertise to on-site field analysis at customer facilities. Thus, it can assist in all the steps of the O&M processes, including data collection, analysis, evaluation, and decision-making. Our main activities are related to: - On site failure diagnosis in rotating machinery - Transient’s analysis - Balancing on site of supercritical shafts - Acoustic analysis for evaluation of the norm’s compliance - Conception and design of monitoring systems Urbar also focuses on its experience in vibration testing and supply of specialized equipment, as well as testing and analysis and commissioning of equipment for renewable generation plants, such as solar thermal and wind power. With outstanding references in the Urban Solid Waste sector, Urbar has the capacity to face complete projects in technologies such as: Incineration, Pyrolysis, Gasification and Hybridization in renewable energies.
