About Gruppo Boero
Boero Bartolomeo S.p.A., founded in 1831, is an industrial holding company that formulates, produces and distributes paints for the Architectural and Deco and Yachting sectors. Its primacy is synonymous of success, resulting from a great tradition that blends into a new culture of colour. The holding recently strengthens its approach of research, production and logistics through three hubs: Rivalta Scrivia (production site and centre for R&D), Tortona (logistics hub), Genoa (headquarters): this allows optimisation of the production and distribution processes, in a logic of high competitiveness and speed of response to the needs of individual customers. The Rivalta Scrivia production facility opened for business in 2009. It covers over 120,000 sqm, 12,000 sqm of which are devoted to production and 6,000 sqm to warehouses and service centres, making it one of the largest production sites for paints in Europe. The continuous improvement of distribution services and highly professional operators ensure the best logistic standards available on the market. Every year, over 20 million litres of paint are delivered in 100,000 shipments. Products are handled with the help of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) implemented using latest generation IT procedures and technology. Respect, protection and harmony of the environment have always been central themes of the development philosophy of Boero Group. For this reason the Boero Group laboratories constantly pursue the search for eco-friendly solutions, both in terms of formulation and product creation. The attention to low environmental impact characterised the different steps of the production system and distribution cycle, from the choice of raw materials to production, from transport to recovery and disposal. The company has an integrated management system ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
