GSEP was founded with one mission in mind: To selflessly heal and serve. In our effort to fulfill that mission, we hire only the best and brightest residency trained, board certified physicians who are dedicated to providing the best emergency care. We strive every day to act with integrity and show respect towards our patients and the institutions where we serve. GSEP is an independent democratic group of 75+ Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians treating patients at multiple hospitals and free standing EDs in San Antonio and surrounding areas. We also have a great group of 30+ combined Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants that support our physicians. As a democratic group,we each have a say in how our practice is managed. All major issues are decided by shareholding physicians owners who meet annually to provide direction and discuss future plans. A Board of Directors made exclusively of physicians, meet monthly to further discuss our service, people, quality, finances and potential for growth.
