About Guelph-Humber Pre-Law Society
The purpose of the Guelph-Humber Pre-Law Society is to promote and foster a culture of legal inquiry and critical thought processes in Guelph-Humber's academic community. We will provide students with the resources and knowledge to better understand Canada's legal system and provide general and specific information about the various forms of law and legal professions. We will provide resources that help students study for the Legal Standardized Admissions Tests (LSATs) and better understand how one goes about becoming a member of the legal profession in Canada. We will introduce students to legal professionals, law school representatives and other experts in the various fields of law, to produce a communication web and strong networking support in the field. GHPLS is a student-run society that helps students prepare for further education in law and form a community with like-minded students who share an interest in the law, and collectively prepare for further education in law.
