About Guerilla Cricket
We’re Guerrilla Cricket: the leading independent voice of cricket audio providing worldwide commentary on the internet. It’s ball-by-ball commentary with your mates. We cover everything from Test matches to ODIs to T20 Internationals to IPL. Our listeners are an integral part of the show, with frequent on-air interactions through Twitter and other social channels. Yes, we’re 'broadcasting', but we’re also engaged in an ongoing two-way discussion - discussion that offers a huge opportunity to promote brands and partners as play evolves. Then there are the jingles: regular, short musical interludes that punctuate the commentary to introduce the players or signal moments in the game such as wickets, boundaries or landmarks. Most of our jingles are created by listeners (we have some real talent out there). We’re not Geo-blocked unlike some of the big radio outfits. We’ve been heard by fans in almost 200 countries, from Suriname to South Korea, Myanmar to Malaysia, Namibia to the North Pole (yes, we realise that last one’s not a country, but you get the idea). We’re by fans, for fans: inclusive, interactive and social. Our audience figures may surprise you. Here are just a few examples from recent times: - During the England vs India India test series in 2018, 890,000 listeners - For the six matches of the Asia Cup in 2018, we reached 1.4 million listeners - For the 4th India Vs Australia ODI on March 10th 2019 we acheived 926,000 listeners We are very optimistic for the World Cup, given the HUGE interest in ASIA and our ability to promote in advance. For the Asia Cup we were averaging 230,000 per day with largest numbers for India. For the World Cup, we expect premium matches to average at least 500,000 per day with India and Pakistan exceeding this considerably.
