About Guild Anderson | Estate Cabinetry
We firmly believe in the refined, relaxed and old school charm of the English country house. Our work takes inspiration from both the buildings we work in and from how our clients live. By blending heritage with personality (and combining it with a healthy dose of practicality), we are able to create spaces which function brilliantly for modern family life, and timeless rooms which never date. We believe in our duty to respect the buildings we work in and in the importance of doing justice to vernacular architecture. We also believe strongly that rooms designed for living in should be designed by people with experience of life. By combining this experience with a harmonious and logical approach to how domestic working spaces can be enhanced, we are able to improve the daily lives of the families that use the spaces we create. Based between Shaftesbury and Salisbury on the magnificent Fonthill Estate, we design and make kitchens, pantries, bootrooms and the domestic wings of country houses in Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset, Bath, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. For the right project with a good team, we may also work elsewhere.
