About Guitar Lessons in Toronto
I offer private guitar and bass lessons in Toronto. I accept incoming students of all ages from beginner to professional levels, and in classical, rock, country and folk styles. I prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music examinations if desired. I'm a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association (ORMTA) and subscribe to their code of ethics. I also teach voice, music theory and ear training. I have more than twenty years' experience as a professional guitarist, playing everything from hard rock to classical. I've played as a single artist, in duos and trios and bands ranging up to a seven-piece R&B showband. In the Humber College Jazz program I was even exposed to playing in big bands (but I didn't like having to sit at the back). I have guided numerous students through Royal Conservatory exams in classical guitar. I am currently involved in a classic rock project by the name of Fossil Fuel.
