Dr. David Guitar is a 1972 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. We opened our doors in Brownwood, Texas on January 1, 2005. Prior to moving to Brownwood, Dr. Guitar owned and operated his own practice in Houston for 25 years. During this time he was an associate surgeon at Baylor College of Medicine, implanting artificial hearts and left ventricular bypass implantation. Our practice utilizes the latest technology in Digital Radiography, Ultrasonography, Laser Surgery, and Class IV Laser Therapy. Dr. Guitar specializes in all aspects of equine health, reproduction, and care. We treat any animal that needs to be seen- from your beloved pets to farm animals and exotic animals- such as lizards, fish, snakes, and birds.
