SA Guitarist is an online magazine, made by musicians for musicians and music fanatics. We’re doing this simply for the love of music and out of frustration of not being able to find quality South African online communal spots for muso’s! We’re a bunch of guitarists ourselves and have played in an array of bands and come from various backgrounds all rooted in alternative rock. Having been all over the country witnessing and jamming with amazing signed and unsigned artists in South Africa we can honestly say that there are thousands of unseen and unheard of talented musicians all around us and that is the gap we would like to fill. Bringing you what the money mongers won’t play on the air. Acquainting you with the unscathed, unpolluted local musical talents! Tapping into the very roots of why we love music; Not for money, not for fame, not for looks, just the sheer love of jamming tunes!
