About Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy
Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy is a 53 acre Industrial Emergency Response Training Academy located in north Mobile County, Alabama. Our facility, Oliver Field, was designed and built by industry as a scenario based learning center. At Gulf Coast Emergency Response Academy, our scenario based training and expert instruction is designed to be specific to the industrial plant, either chemical, paper/pulp, steel, electric generating textile or other manufacturing. Our diverse instruction specializes in your emergency response needs. Industrial Fire Brigade Training Municipal Fire Training Industrial Hazardous Materials Response Rescue Training: Industrial Rope Rescue Training, Industrial Confined Space Rescue Training, High Angle Training, Trench Rescue Training Incident Command Training Emergency Medical Training OSHA Training Tactical Training Many of our fire props are similar to other schools however, our props are configured to replicate an actual plant site. If attacked in the wrong manner, the fire can involve other parts of the unit. Our HAZMAT props are realistic and include: rolled over tank trailers, chlorine simulators and valve rooms. We also train on custom props that you request. Our industrial rope rescue classes use spaces above and below ground including confined spaces. Props include columns, vaults, hoppers, pipes and boilers. Our professional staff works together with you to customize a training program that not only meets and exceeds requirements but prepares your responders for an emergency event.
