About Gulf Fluor
Gulf Fluor is an Abu Dhabi based chemical manufacturing company determined to meet the growing demand for aluminum fluoride in the Arabian Gulf, and covering part of the import requirements of the neighboring regions. Along with the efforts of H.E. Hamad Al-Khaili to materialize the vision of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed to support and expand the downstream and upstream industries in the UAE, Gulf Fluor began its commercial production of Aluminum Fluoride by the fourth quarter of 2014. Contributing to the economy and well-being of UAE, Gulf Fluor has met all the requirements for its operations and has set up strategic partnerships with leading European technology companies that provide the company with the most advanced, cutting edge solutions for aluminum fluoride, hydrogen fluoride and sulphuric acid plants. The Gulf Fluor Industrial complex consist of a Sulphuric Acid plant with a production capacity of 140,000 MT (metric tons) per year, Hydrogen Fluoride plant with a capacity of 54,000 MT (metric tons) per year, and aluminum fluoride plant with an annual capacity of 60,000 MT (metric tons), in addition to a waste water treatment plant. The aluminum fluoride plant is the only plant of its kind in the Middle East region and it is considered one of the largest aluminum fluoride plants in the world and the largest single unit plant. With its proximity to some of the world’s largest aluminum producers, this industrial complex is located in the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi ( ICAD II), just 30 Kilometers from hear of Abu Dhabi. The Industrial City of Abu Dhabi homes may light to medium manufacturing, engineering, and processing industries, and cover 11 square KM with marine access and provides Gulf Fluor with a variety of convenient services, all contributing to our competitive advantage in the region. In addition to having its own jetty, Gulf Fluor will soon be able to service its clients all over the world due to its globally centralized location.
