Serving South Alabama in Mobile, Baldwin, Clarke, and Escambia counties, GRECS aims to provide safe and developmentally enriching care which promotes the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of infants and toddlers, preparing them for future growth and development; support families in their role as primary caregivers and teachers of their children, and in meeting personal goals and achieving self-sufficiency across a wide variety of domains; mobilize communities to provide the resources and environment necessary to ensure a comprehensive, integrated array of services and support for families; and ensure the provision of high-quality, responsive services through the development of trained and caring staff. The training and technical assistance programs offered at Gulf Regional Early Childhood Services are the primary resource in our area for community-based early childhood education training.
