This is accomplished by uniting storytellers, digital artists, filmmakers, journalists, climate advocates, indigenous groups, and scientific experts. We envision empowered individuals and communities coexisting symbiotically with the natural world, fostering resilience and prosperity for generations to come. The name "Gul-Re" holds deep significance, drawing from both historical tradition and folk wisdom. Similar to terms like "Oracle Bone" and "Scapula," "Gul-Re" is used by the Baloch tribes of Balochistan to describe a tool for divination. By examining goat or sheep shoulder bones, Baloch seers predict events ranging from weather patterns to social changes. "Gul-Re" merges "Gul," meaning "flower" and symbolizing beauty and growth, with "Re," representing mountains in Balti and the ideas of renewal and transformation.
