Guryon (Pty) Ltd specialises in providing professional drone magnetic and other related surveys. The company founded in 2017, has to date completed numerous successful magnetic surveys, covering thousands of hectares and line kilometres. Since establishment, Guryon has provided various mining and exploration clients of different commodities such as alluvial and kimberlitic diamonds, manganese, copper, and gold. Unmanned Aerial Systems for Magnetic Surveys (UAMS) are advancing at a rapid pace and are on course to completely replace ground magnetic surveys and compete with traditional airborne surveys on the smaller survey areas. Photogrammetry with related services and products are also available. This can be done concurrently with the magnetic survey whilst on the project, (important to note that acquisition is not at the same time) as a cost-saving benefit to the client as there are no additional mobilisation and logistics costs. A detailed, high resolution and highly accurate drone geo-referenced photo is obtained, from this photo; 3D models, accurate DEM’s and topographical contours are generated.
