Hydrogen in a powder! H2Fuel enables safe and cheap transportation and storage of hydrogen globally and at large scale. H2Fuel is a circular hydrogen carrier in which hydrogen is bound to a salt (NaBH4), the release of which is achieved using a patented process that requires no additional energy and doubles the amount of hydrogen originally stored in the salt. After hydrogen release, the residual product - or spent fuel - can be recycled and reused as a hydrogen carrier. Of all potential hydrogen carriers, H2Fuel has the highest energy density, is light and, if dry, can be safely transported, stored (silo) and distributed (decentrally) in bulk under atmospheric conditions by conventional means (ship/train/truck) without specific facilities or newly built networks. Dry storage of H2Fuel is possible worldwide and requires no unique qualities or conditions. H2Fuel is ready for use at scale, non-explosive, non-flammable, non-toxic, everlasting, has no leakage and is circular. In case of any calamity, its natural substances are degradable and pose no danger to the environment. These specific features of H2Fuel, in addition to all the other advantages, make transport, storage and distribution extremely cheap, immediately implementable and at dramatically lower cost than alternatives.
