About Halbert Research

Halbert Research specialises in EU funding for research and innovation. We can help you to win funding in the Horizon Europe programme (2021-2027), which has a designated budget of over €95 billion. We have more than 20 years’ experience evaluating proposals and reviewing projects for the EC (FP5, FP6, FP7, and Horizon 2020). We provide workshops and one-to-one coaching on how to plan, prepare and submit a proposal for EU funding. In H2020 alone, we helped our clients to secure €81.8 million in funding. We help in the early stages of research proposal planning and writing, and will evaluate your proposal according to the EC criteria for each Funding Call, in advance of EU submission. We also provide proof-reading and editing services to ensure a professional grant submission. We work across all scientific disciplines, and have an excellent track record in helping European and international clients to win funding. We have worked directly with individual researchers and groups at universities, colleges, research institutes, government departments, state agencies, public bodies, and companies. Our training and consultancy services are aligned with the three Pillars of Horizon Europe: Pillar 1-Excellent Science, Pillar 2-Global Challenges, and Pillar 3-European Industrial Competitiveness and Innovative Europe, as well as with the supports for Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (ERA).
