About Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence
The Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence (CME) is an undergraduate interdisciplinary minor/emphasis program at the University of Mississippi. The CME aims to educate the next generation of upper level managers for the modern world of manufacturing. Through our innovative "learn-by-doing" curriculum, CME students are exposed to the disciplines of Accountancy, Business, and Engineering through the lens of manufacturing. This holistic approach prepares our students to become young professionals that work in diverse environments, understand soft skills in the workplace, think outside of their academic silos, all while delivering a high quality product or service to the market place
