Halfbreed Blades Australia is a 100% Australian-owned and operated business based in South Melbourne. We design and develop highly specialised knives and hand tools, purpose-built to meet user-specific operational requirements. Our mission is to deliver pinnacle-performance products—intelligently designed and manufactured without compromise in materials, craftsmanship, or technique. Built for extreme environments, our products are engineered for exceptional durability and reliability. Every knife and tool bearing the Halfbreed Blades mark is rigorously tested to meet the demands of serious professionals. We proudly stand behind our workmanship and maintain the highest quality standards. We utilise premium steels sourced from Austria, Japan, and the United States. Blades are CNC water-cut and precision-machined to exacting tolerances, then heat treated using proprietary processes. Our advanced finishes include Cerakote, Teflon, and PVD coatings. We specialise in vacuum-press Kydex sheath manufacturing, polymer injection moulding, G10 and Micarta® fabrication, titanium 3D CNC machining, and tool design. Our products and services support outdoor enthusiasts, martial artists, private security professionals, emergency and rescue responders, and military and law enforcement operators. In addition to our own product lines, we offer custom design, project management, and manufacturing services to other companies and government agencies.
