About Halo-Halo Dance
A Filipino cultural dance company dedicated to enriching the community through vibrant performances, engaging summer dance classes, and dynamic pop-up fundraising events—all with the mission of giving back and making a positive impact. Our group was formed in 2023 as a result of being brought together by Fusion, the first Asian festival hosted by BYU. We chose the name "Halo-Halo" because of the foundational nature of this Filipino dessert: a diversity of ingredients, mixed together. Just like halo-halo, our dance group consists of members from different backgrounds, but we all come together to embrace our love for Philippine culture and history. If you are interested in having us perform at your event, please reach out to us through our email halohalo@gmail.com or visit the link listed as our website for our booking form. We have performed at Fusion, BYU’s first Asian festival; PACCI-Utah's Chamber Gala; aided UVU Cultural Envoy; the Philippine Independence Day Celebration Festival in Salt Lake City; other private events, and more..
