About Halo Initiatives
Healing After Loss to Overdose (HALO) Initiatives, a program of the Boston BullPen Project, supports families grieving the loss of a loved one to opioid overdose. Through financial assistance and community resources, HALO helps families address challenges related to health, healing, and stability. Our inaugural program, the Family Overdose Support Fund (FOSF), a partnership with the City of Boston and Boston Public Health Commission, offers up to $5,000 for funeral costs, behavioral health, childcare, and legal fees. Supported by Boston’s opioid settlement funds, HALO is dedicated to fostering hope and reducing trauma for those affected by the opioid crisis.
