We are a family owned and operated waste management company who believe that customer requirements are a main priority. We work closely with all our customers to ensure that they are happy in the service they receive from us. Our commitment to customer service and our dedication to the safe and responsible recycling of all the waste we receive allow us to provide an excellent level of service that is simply unmatched in Glasgow, Edinburgh & the Lothian's and Scottish Borders. Our transfer station is located at Wallyford, just off the Edinburgh city by-pass, which makes us ideally located to quickly service the surrounding areas. We have one of the highest recycling rates in Scotland and are constantly pioneering new technology and recycling processes. By choosing us you can be assured that your waste recycling needs will be met and your requirements will always be a top priority. Hamilton Waste & Recycling Ltd has a state of the art 15 acre Transfer Station just outside Edinburgh at Smeaton Bing. This will be the largest and most advanced Waste Transfer and Recycling station in the Lothians. This site will increase our efficiency and recycling rates. We provide full site support services including site visits at implementation stage and assistance in delivering the waste management plan on all sites. We work successfully with a number of large companies and local authorities who take advantage of our excellent understanding of the skip hire and waste industry. Substantial investment has been made to our site infrastructure ensuring compliance with all Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) legislation. We have a modern fleet of 17 skip hire vehicles as well as a great deal of waste handling and recycling equipment which is maintained to the highest standard. We are one of the only independent waste management companies in the Lothians area with 3 licensed transfer stations and one licensed landfill site as well as achieving ISO 14001 accreditation.
