About Hammerheads Aerobatics
Hello. My name is Chris and I’m an airplane nerd. Ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, a little bit about me. Ever since I experienced my first aerobatic ride in the back seat of a T-6 Texan as a teenager, I've been hooked on aerobatics. In 2008, I earned my pilot's license and quickly followed that up with a tailwheel endorsement. From there, I moved on to basic aerobatic training in Citabrias and Decathlons. In 2016, I achieved my dream of flying a Pitts Special and love to fly the Pitts in regional aerobatic contests on the east coast. Flying these amazing airplanes upside down has become one of my greatest passions. I have a commercial pilot's license with instrument rating and became a flight instructor in August of 2022. Also, I am a licensed aircraft mechanic. Helping others discover the thrill of flying is a truly rewarding experience for me.
