About Hana Alternative Asset Management
“Our vision is to be a global asset manager specializing in alternative investments that offer the best value to our clients.” Since our inception as the first asset manager to specialize in Korean real estate in 2006, Hana Alternative Asset Management has expanded our investment scope to include special asset funds. This is to support our vision as an asset management company with broad expertise in overall alternative investment strategies. Our company became an affiliate of Hana Financial Group in March 2010, and continues to grow by innovating advanced financial techniques and building extensive networks. Hana Alternative Asset Management has continuously strengthened its position as an alternative investment specialist manager. We obtained a special asset collective investment business license in 2013 , publicly placed special asset collective investment license in 2017, and established Private Equity Office in 2019. We launched publicly placed real estate fund in 2017, which enlarged the investor pool basis significantly. We also launched publicly placed real estate fund,and privately placed funds of CLO, aircraft, solar energy, which enabled us to take the initiative,and diversify the business portfolio in alternative asset investment In addition, as an affiliate of Hana Financial Group,we continuously enhanced internal collaboration, and launched co- invested Hana blind Infra-funds in 2019. For the reasons above, our AUM finally reached KRW 7 trillion in February 2019, and have been pursuing AUM of KRW 10 trillion with all our efforts. Hana Alternative Asset Management has applied the Hana Financial Group philosophy, “Only for Happiness of Clients” with the objective of being the best asset manager to specialize in alternative investments by putting customer value first.
