About Hana Wellness

Hello! My name is Hana Ilg. Originally from San Francisco, California now living in Amsterdam, Netherlands with my amazing husband, Brooks. So how did I get to be so passionate about conscious living & women’s health, ranging from food and lifestyle to fertility and birth? I am a naturally curious and inquisitive person so when a big decision in life confronts me, I like to dig deep, do my research, experiment and implement solutions. When I began having health issues, I found that there was a strong connection to what I was eating and lifestyle choices I was making that contributed to me feeling terrible. I sought after a more lasting solution. I wanted to learn how to eat healthier but there were so many contradictory theories of how to do so, meanwhile everyone around me was counting calories and using quick fixes as band aids. I knew there had to be another way, so I sought after more lasting solutions. This is why I now provide programs and services that educate and equip women to move forward with confidence in what their bodies are capable of. -Certified Health Coach: I received my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. I apply this background now in my FAM education, Doula services and essential oils classes helping to inspire women to make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results. -Fertility Awareness Method Advocate: Practicing and advocating about the Fertility Awareness Method to avoid pregnancy for 5 years. -Doula: Certified labor and postpartum doula by CAPPA International.
