Hand in Hand is building a shared, inclusive society in Israel through a growing network of integrated, bilingual Jewish-Arab schools and active communities. Established in 1998 with just two preschool classes, Hand in Hand now operates 6 elementary schools, 5 preschools, 2 middle schools and 1 high school, serving over 2,000 Jewish and Arab students. Beyond the classroom, thousands of community members Jews and Arabs alike, participate in joint activities organized by Hand in Hand throughout the year. Our vision is to establish integrated schools in every mixed city and region, each buttressed by strong, parent-led communities, spreading our mission further afoot. Together, we’re proving that a shared society is as viable as it is desirable.
