We are a volunteering organisation, which organises placements for people of all ages in Ghana. Whether you are interested in art, medicine, teaching, sport, journalism, marketing or building we have the perfect plcement for you. Hand in Hand is a relatively new organisation. Our arrival at this time means that we have learnt from those who have been engaging with volunteers and placements in Ghana for many years and gained from the experience of their voluteers and staff in developing the best support system available for your visit. We aim to encourage as many people as possible to take up the opportunity to experience volunteering in Africa because it is vital to the people here as well as to your personal development. We stand by the motto that"anything is possible when you go hand in hand' and we know that many people choose to ignore charities on their doorstep and on the street, because the suffering is invisible. People in Ghana may not suffer as much as other countries in Africa, but we think if people help face to face, they will gain a much better understanding and appreciation of what they have and where they can go.
