About Handmade Moroccan
Family who fell in love with Morocco We have been visiting Morocco for a few years now and have fallen in love with everywhere we have visited. In 2019, just as the pandemic was spreading across the world, we decided to buy a house in the Essaouira region. Though it has been difficult to visit the house, we have made as many trips as possible. It was during one of these trips, that we came across the Cactus Silk cushions and thought these would look great in our house....so we bought a few. Essaouira has a plethora of individual artisan shops, throughout the ancient Medina and it is from these shops that we source our cushions, Thuya wood, pottery, Tamegroute and rugs. We love the area and are delighted to be able to share some of our enjoyment with you
