About Hanslip & Company
Hanslip & Company Ltd was formed as HMDW Architects Ltd in 2007 through the merger of Russell Hanslip Associates and CMA Architects. Both practices were founded in the early 1980s and have built up similar expertise in working with church and community clients on projects for new buildings, extensions and alterations to existing buildings, and repair and restoration of Listed buildings. Projects range in value up to £6 million, and are located throughout London and the southeast of England. Much experience has been gained in most areas of conservation and restoration of Grade 2, 2* and 1 Listed Buildings, the oldest of which dates from 1086, the Chichester Office itself. Conservation knowledge has been gained partly through specialised courses and partly by extensive experience. Members of the practice are on the AABC (Architects Accredited in Building Conservation) Register and RIBA Conservation Register.
