About Happy Moose Juice

Happy Moose Juice crafts organic cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and wellness shots in small batches right here in California. In early 2013, my co-founder Phoebe and I were friends living with 8 other young, hard-working, and creative professionals / artists in the Presidio of San Francisco. We lived in one of the Captain’s Quarter mansions, overlooking Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. We were wide-eyed, young, 20-somethings, both in between jobs. Having recently moved to SF, we were inspired by the majestic surroundings, the friends we shared our home with, and the electric lifestyle that radiated from the people and places around town. With Phoebe's background in nutrition science / dietetics, and my ambitions to start my own food business, the idea for the world’s coolest juice company was naturally born out of our collective love for delicious but healthy food & drink. Bootstrapped and determined, we set off to make juice better than anyone had ever known. We realized that the other juices out there tasted watered-down and were mainly marketed toward the wealthy, with an added focus on not eating food / losing weight. Since we were in California, and incredible fruits and veggies were in abundance, we strived to make delicious and healthy juices that didn’t seem exclusive and made EVERYONE happy. We wanted to create a company, whose mission was centered around making all people smile, from the inside out. Thus, Happy Moose Juice was born. Today, our business’s spirit and mission remains true to those notions: We are here to make the world’s best juice and to cultivate happiness in anyone we have the opportunity to share it with. We are passionate about finding the freshest, most natural and organic ingredients, grown by the best California farmers, so we can extract what’s good, and bottle it up to share with you. -Ryan, co-founder and CEO
