Harb Engineering and Consulting, Inc. (HEC) is a structural engineering consulting firm specializing in forensic structural engineering, structural design and project management administration, litigation support and expert witness testimony. Our experience covers wide sectors that include residential, commercial, industrial, sports, education, healthcare, government, municipal and transportation structures. Since 1996, we have been involved in the design and construction administration of new buildings, as well as the restoration and renovation of existing buildings and structures. We are experts in identifying structural deficiencies and creating solutions that are cost efficient and would restore the structure to its pre-damaged condition. Our involvement in Hurricane damage assessment and restoration started in 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma. We have performed structural forensic investigations on thousands of structures. In 2012, we were also involved in the damage assessment and structural forensic investigations of flood damage caused by Hurricane Sandy in New York and New Jersey. In addition, we have extensive experience in expert testimony work and litigation support.
