About Hardware Gallery

Hardware Gallery is a contemporary commercial art gallery located in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1999, Hardware Gallery moved to the Inner West suburb of Enmore in 2006, later expanding in 2008 to a multi level exhibition and performance space. Onsite we also maintain a large stockroom of artwork, an art services workshop and The Record Room, where we sell used vinyl records. Our two exhibition spaces see new shows every three weeks with a combination of solo, small and large themed group exhibitions. Exhibitions are part of a fully curated program of events which aims to recognise the emerging and established artistic talent in Australia today. Conceptually articulate bodies of work are encouraged in all mediums and styles, with particular focus on original approaches to materials and concepts. Hardware Gallery hosts Sound Series, a monthly night of exploratory music and performance which was launced in early 2010. Sound Series sees sound based performance and installation across a broad range of styles, where experimentation is always encouraged. The Record Room is one of the many annexes in the gallery and where we sell used vinyl records. Covering just about every style and genre of music, our vinyl selection is vast, well priced and constantly evolving.
