Founded in 1987, Hare & Humphreys has evolved into one of Britain’s leading specialists in the painting, gilding, conservation and decoration of historic buildings. During the past 30 years, their practice has been responsible for conserving some of the United Kingdom’s most significant historic buildings and monuments. The company’s core team of highly trained professionals combines extensive experience across the arts, decoration and conservation sectors with a shared ethos for delivering excellence. In 2011, following works at Windsor Castle, the company was honored with the Royal Warrant as Decorators and Gilders by appointment to HRM Queen Elizabeth II. Our projects vary immensely, ranging from painting maintenance to the design, production and installation of highly decorative interiors and artworks, to the highest standards of conservation of historic material. In 2017 Hare & Humphreys Ltd merged with Atelier Premier London part of the ADF group based in France but with a world wide presence. Atelier Premier bring French savoir faire and extensive knowledge of the super high end residential market to our portfolio as well as a team of highly skilled polished plasterers and specialist finishers.
