Harewood House Trust is an independent charitable educational trust and accredited museum. Set up to maintain and develop Harewood, its collections, gardens and grounds, for the public benefit. With over 140 acres of nationally significant gardens and an astounding collection of paintings, furniture and ceramics, the Trust is re-imagining what makes a historic country house, and its landscape, relevant in the 21st century. Located in the heart of Yorkshire, only 7 miles away from central Leeds and Harrogate, Harewood is ideally located for your next project, whether that’s to host a large scale outdoor event or filming. With a diverse choice of venues available across Harewood’s two main event spaces; the Georgian House and Grade II listed Courtyard, Harewood offers the ideal location for unique dining experiences, weddings, meetings and team away days. As a leading events venue and filming location in the North, previous clients include AEG Presents, BBC, Cartier, Cuffe & Taylor, Natwest, Netflix and Rolex. The House, one of the treasure houses of England, was built in the mid-18th century and has magnificent interiors by Robert Adam, furniture by Thomas Chippendale and paintings by JMW Turner, Reynolds, Titian and El Greco, among others. An Italianate Terrace, designed by Sir Charles Barry, stretches along the South Front of the House and provides stunning views of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown's landscape and lake. The collection of paintings, furniture and porcelain is as fine as any in the land, and the setting is Yorkshire’s most beautiful landscape.
