About Harpha Sea, Koper

We are the only Slovenian company providing services of hydrographical sea measurement (depth measurement for navigation purposes). We use our own equipment (vessels, sonars, GPS systems) and our own IT software for the planning and conducting of measurements and for data processing and presentation. The measurement results are used in the preparation of nautical charts. As we started using the GPS measurement technology relatively early, we have upgraded this activity by setting up reference stations and developing the GPS measurement system with centimetre accuracy. Harpha Sea, d.o.o. Koper employs 26 people, among them four doctors of science, three masters of science and seven young researchers. We invest heavily in staff development, particularly through specialist study at our suppliers and by encouraging the continuous vocational training of all our employees. In technologically demanding projects we combine forces with experts from various universities.
