About Harris Educational

Harris Educational is the originator and manufacturer of "Reinventing Science" science kits and materials that inspire experimenters of all ages to participate in science, math, technology, history and discovery. We also provide services such as training and workshops, as well as eLearning, multimedia, product development, and short run educational manufacturing. Harris Educational hopes to promote a life long love of learning, especially in areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). We do this through our Reinventing Science kits, educational outreach, social media, and free resources and information for Educators, Hobbyists, Tinkerers, and Families. Our Mission Statement: "To excite young minds (and older young minds) and inspire them to DO science, math, and technology!" Harris Educational sponsors the "Alamance Makers Guild" a group of talented and creative "makers" located in Alamance County North Carolina. It is our goal to expand Harris Educational and open a Maker Space that will benefit our community, provide outreach to local schools, seed new inventions and business ideas, provide training services and summer science camps, spawn "teachable moments" that will lead to educational materials for others to share and learn from, and provide a creative outlet for members of our community.
