Welcome to Hartford HealthCare’s Center for Education, Simulation & Innovation (CESI) at Hartford Hospital. Since it's founding in 1999, CESI become a training destination for healthcare providers and companies throughout the world. It is an innovative, experiential training center for clinical staff and first responders from across the world, helping to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a culture of patient safety. CESI has a strong track record of engaging with corporate clients across industries, including insurance, pharmaceutical and medical device companies. We help our clients accelerate their research and develop projects or programs, achieve regulatory approvals, launch products with greater confidence, ensure safe and effective use of products through hands-on training programs and better understand their healthcare customers. CESI is located on the campus of Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, just 20 minutes from Bradley International Airport, and one mile from Hartford's Union Station, which provides Amtrak service along the northeast corridor. We are just 90 minutes by car from either Boston or New York City. We offer the following: Surgery Skills & Task Training: Practice specialized surgery and other skills in our dedicated 1,200 sq. ft. "arcade,” containing multiple virtual reality and task-specific trainers. Lab Services: Conduct research and development studies and perform sophisticated training in CESI’s state-of-the-art wet lab. Cognitive & Team Training: Observe and practice advanced surgical techniques in our 10 dedicated simulation rooms. Linked to control rooms for observation, the simulation suites can host multiple advanced human patient simulators and dedicated skill stations. Customized Solutions to Meet Your Training Needs: Our training professionals work with you to identify gaps, determine learning objectives and design a custom curriculum to achieve your training goals.
